Revisiting Remote-Centric Teams After 3 Years: What Have We Learned?

2020 brought radical changes to how our teams and companies operated. Now in 2023, let's take a moment and identify the good, bad, and ugly of continued remote-centric teams and how to approach continuing changes in the industry.

This discussion will be led by Jonathan Andrew Wolter, Software Engineer @ Square (Block), and will create space for sharing the learnings and challenges of remote-centric teams. For some of us remote is the "new normal", for others its an ever changing set of expectations and policies. How do we create a culture of work which is valuable and productive for both the bottom-line and our team members?

A little more about our host, Jonathan:

Jonathan has spanned many teams/roles in 10 years at Square (Block) from a technical lead to a manager and manager of managers. He spent considerable time in payments with launching countries and new products; in the external developer platform growing it from 5 to 70+; and most recently in the newly chartered Square Financial Services bank building a cloud first platform.
