Prior to joining US Bank 2018, he was SVP at Wells Fargo for 13 years, where he began by leading risk modeling and later became the head of model review/validation covering a wide range of models for credit decisioning, capital planning, financial crime, and compliances. Yu Pan also has worked at HSBC and Delta Airlines in research, decision support, and analytics roles. Before that, he was an assistant professor at the Hong Kong Baptist University business school. Yu Pan holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Minnesota.
