Dr. Ram Sriharsha is the CTO at Pinecone. At Pinecone, Ram is responsible for overseeing the company’s technical direction in both engineering and research.

Prior to joining Pinecone, Ram held numerous senior positions at some of the most well-known companies in the tech industry. Most recently, he was Vice President of Engineering at Splunk where he began as a Senior Principal Scientist.

Before that, he was a product and engineering lead at Databricks for their unified analytics platform for genomics.

Some years after receiving a PhD in Physics from the University of Maryland, Ram was a Principal Software Engineer and later a Principal Research Scientist at Yahoo.
